About the Opportunity

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment. With strong growth in our Service Department, our Muswellbrook branch has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join the team in the position of a Tool Storeperson.

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the tool store, including the coordination and logistics to provide timely supply of tooling and consumables to internal and external Customers. This role will be best suited to a self-started individual with excellent communication and organisational skills as you will be required to work closely with our Service Department, so as to meet specific project needs to ensure a high level service delivery.

  • Experience & Skillset - Demonstrated knowledge and previous experience in either a Tools environment or similar industry
  • Logistics Coordination - With confident computer literacy skills; a High Risk Forklift License would also be beneficial and preferred.
  • Analytical thinking - Ability to navigate any issues whilst identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Autonomous productivity - A self-driven Initiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction
