Hitachi Rail Honolulu JV (HRH) is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated ATC (Automatic Train Control) & SCADA Technician to work on our Honolulu Rail Project. As the successful candidate your ideas for continuous improvement and creativity are welcome. The position is based in Pearl City/Honolulu, HI.

Technical Responsibilities
To oversee the operations and correct functioning of the ATC and SCADA systems and central equipment.
To perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on the central ATC and SCADA system.
To support field technicians in the diagnosis and correction of faults
Coordinates with the Engineering Fault Controller and provides forecasts on the time to repair faults.
Must be skilled in communicating and coordinating with field staff and control room staff;
Experience in IT hardware and software and the use/interpretation of schematics, wiring diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturers' maintenance instructions and to comprehend the operations and maintenance of central ATC and SCADA system.
Inform the Supervisor of any operating conditions deviating from normal conditions
Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by the Management
Ensure daily work is conducted in accordance to the applicable regulations, rules, standards and operational procedures related to railway safety
Request police and/or medical assistance, as needed; and perform related work
Available to attend EVERYDAY for training Monday-Friday from March 30 until October 30, 2020 M-F 8am - 5pm

Required Skills/ Knowledge:
Associate Degree
Expert knowledge in ATC and SCADA systems
