Hitachi Rail Honolulu JV (HRH) is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated ATC Technician (On-Board) to work on our Honolulu Rail Project. As the successful candidate your ideas for continuous improvement and creativity are welcome. The position is based in Pearl City/Honolulu, HI. Who We Are:
HRH is a Hawaii-based Joint Venture, which was awarded the Design-Build-Operate-Maintain (DBOM) contract for the Honolulu Rail Transit Project (Project), the first Driverless Rail Transit System in the USA. HRH has assembled a team of experienced professionals in order to deliver a world-class rail transit system capable of delivering highly comfortable, reliable, safe and cost-effective transportation.

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance, inspection, adjustments, testing, cleaning, lubrication and proper maintenance on assigned ATC (on-board) equipment in accordance with manufacturers' maintenance manuals and instructions
Observes ATC system components and devices in operation to detect potential failures and locates causes of malfunction
Responds to ATC malfunctions completing repairs as assigned. Uses electronic test equipment and other specialized tools as required
Completes assigned operational, equipment failure, safety and other reports as required
Complies with Safety Rules, Operating Rule Book and first-aid procedures
Role requires flexibility which require shift rotation, weekends and holidays work typical of major infrastructure projects and operating transit systems
Perform additional job duties as assigned Required Education/Skills:
Associate's Degree in Electronics
2-years' experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of ATC equipment, tools and test equipment or equivalent work experience and education Desired Skills/ Knowledge:
Knowledge of the ATC System on-board for Passenger Trains
Re-commissioning and certification of the ATC system on the test track prior to release for revenue service
Ability to use and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, software operations manuals, manufacturers' maintenance instructions, etc. and to comprehend the operations and maintenance of ATC system. Benefits:
