Job description
Hitachi Rail USA is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Sales Support professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Pittsburgh, PA.

  • Perform all administrative functions essential to the everyday operation of the Sales and Business Management team
  • Coordinate travel administration and expense reports for the Sales Executive
  • Enhance departments effectiveness by attending meetings and cascading communications to the team
  • Coordinate agendas, meetings, conferences, teleconferences and other events as needed
  • Create/Update library of presentations for the team to present to customers
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with internal and external personnel
  • Respond promptly to all requests or inquiries from the field staff
  • Build a cooperative team spirit that supports sharing of best practices and continued process improvement throughout the organization
  • Regularly manage and contribute to SharePoint site
  • Manage order intake and Sales database
  • Support tradeshow and special events planning with the Business Management and Marketing teams
  • Work alongside bidding group on prequalification requirements and RFP documentation
  • Update and manage product catalog
  • Format technical white papers in support of bids
  • Work as the liaison between the cross functional commercial teams
  • Preform minor Accounts Payables tasks
  • Coordinate catering for Sales Team meetings
  • Tidying up conference room and team office space every week
  • Ordering office supplies for team
Required Skills/ Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Strong communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or direction
  • Self-motivated with an attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to operate essential office equipment (printer, copier, video conferencing, etc.)
Desired Skills/ Knowledge:
Ability to work with graphic design software to manage/create team newsletter
5-7 Years of experience.
Bachelor's degree
