Solution and Delivery Director

The Delivery Coordinator (DC) position will be responsible for Solutioning, Delivery and Customer Support of clients and partners and will report to the Chief Commercial Officer. The ideal candidate will be a high energy, extrovert willing to work within a fast pace and high-pressure atmosphere to support the dynamic and varied environments and needs of Hitachi’s Social Innovation Business’ customer base.


DC's are tasked with making executive technology decisions on behalf of the company, including managing a technology budget and making investments to align the company with their vision for its technological needs. You should be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator and an expert in technological development.


You will work directly under the CCO and will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company


DC’s Responsibilities

  • Setting a vision for how technology will be used in the company.
  • Ensuring that the technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs.
  • Outline the goals for research and development.
  • Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services.
  • Making executive decisions on behalf of the company's technological requirements.
  • Acting as a mentor to team members.
  • Maintaining a consumer-focused outlook and aiding in the delivering of IT projects to market.
  • Managing technology budgets and time frames.
  • Staying on top of technology trends and developments.
  • Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.

Essential Duties:  

  • Manage Delivery of Customer Installs/Pilots/POCs to Success Criteria 
  • Strategic Product Development and Prototyping Initiatives 
  • Security Integration Projects 
  • Technical Sales Support - Product Consultant (SME) 
  • Level 2-3 Customer/Network Support & Customer Advocate, as required 
  • Responsible for maintaining superior level of Customer Satisfaction 
  • Assist in QA/Testing 
  • Focus on enhancing End User Experience and Optimizing Integration 
  • Stay Current with Product Information, Changes and Updates 



  • Working knowledge of wired, wireless, and VPN network technologies 
  • Successful Customer-facing Service Delivery Expertise 
  • Technical-level Customer Support Experience 
  • Knowledge of Relevant Customer Support Tracking Procedures and Tools 
  • Project-oriented Network Consulting Experience
  • Technical Sales Support Background 
  • Understanding of Internet security disciplines and technologies like firewall, networking, authentication, antivirus, etc.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Advanced degree
  • 15+ years working in a technological role
  • 5 years managerial experience
  • Advanced technological skill set and a demonstrated history with technology delivery and execution
  • Exceptional managerial skills as it relates to channel, partner, ecosystem, alliance 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to delegate efficiently.
  • Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future.
