The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Service Manager to join our business based in Dandenong branch. Reporting to the Melbourne Branch Manager your key responsibilities will be to plan, organize, lead and control our Field Service and Workshop operations to best our meet customer requirements and expectations.




To achieve this, you will need to:

  • Manage the financial performance of the Service department ensuring that critical result-drivers such as WIP and margin targets are achieved
  • Be responsible for the day to day activities of HCA Service personnel and ensure labor is used most effectively
  • You will be responsible for the growth and development of your staff by engaging and empowering them.
  • Liaise with a sense of urgency with both internal and external stakeholders pertaining to customers, machine performance, product, workmanship, and warranty
  • Ensure HCA employees and contractors comply with all WHS responsibilities and that a safety first culture is a consistent behavior within the department

To be successful, you will need:

  • Proven leadership skills in a similar environment where you have developed and mentored staff.
  • Ability to communicate professionally at all levels.
  • Relevant Tertiary and/or Trade Qualifications
  • Excellent business acumen with exposure to Project Management.
  • Demonstrated safety focus with a strong understanding of WHS Principles
