The role

We are looking to hire a Product Manager to be part of our Product Strategy team and work on our Data and Analytics Products for Lumada Data Services.


Product Definition
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and use-cases in the Data Science and Machine Learning domain
  • Document use cases, requirements and features
  • Exercise judgement to prioritize effectively
  • Research and understand the competitive landscape to create a differentiated roadmap
  • Create compelling value proposition based on customer/user interaction and market research

Field support
  • Develop and deliver presentations and demonstrations for internal and external audiences
  • Assist Customer Support in prioritizing incoming bug queues and manage customer escalations
  • Engage Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to improve customer relations and collect feedback
  • Support sales with competitive and strategic analysis
  • Deliver roadmap presentations
  • Be an expert in your product

Manage product feedback
  • Use and learn the product deeply
  • Work with customers, the field, partners and analysts to understand product strengths and weaknesses
  • Analyze, synthesize and prioritize incoming requests
  • Communicate effectively with field and customers about product plans
  • Convey the "voice of customer" to Product Owners and Product Design

Team and Process
  • Identify opportunities for process and team improvement
  • Develop processes and infrastructure to help the team work more effectively
  • Communicate with precision and clarity
  • Take a feature from ideation through launch and rollout including interactions with marketing, sales, and field enablement


Candidate Requirements (Must-Have)
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent technical experience/aptitude
  • 3 or more yrs of demonstrated success in product management
  • Experience working within the Data Science domain (Python, Jupyter, Tensorflow, Scikit-learn, etc.)
  • Hands-on with analytics, data integration, data management, and analytics software
  • Comfort level with enterprise software tech such as web and application servers, enterprise security, clustering and virtualization, and tools for managing agile software delivery
  • Great organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Emotional and social intelligence
  • Strong work ethic and business acumen
  • Willingness to work with customers all over the world


The best candidates will also have ...
  • 3-8 years of work experience in enterprise software industry or IT
  • MBA or demonstrated interest/aptitude for corporate and product strategy
  • Ability to travel to the San Francisco, Santa Clara, Boston or Orlando offices
  • Willingness to travel (20% - 30%) and work odd hours (occasionally)-nbsp;
