Job Purpose

In charge of system analysis for mechatronic components and define interfaces for high reliability in safety

Key Accountabilities & Key Activities


  • Define and write system requirements and specifications in association with the design team, the team for actuator control and external system partners
  • Drive and / or participate in system analysis such as FMEA, FTA
  • Request, drive or realize technical studies in order to improve product knowledge and to refine product specifications and the control strategies
  • Follow-up system validation activities (on bench and on vehicle) in cooperation with test teams
  • Document and follow-up evolutions and technical changes in terms of impact with regards to a system definition
  • Participate in design review activities
  • Participate in preparing and presenting system documentation and specific system studies to customers

Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure completeness and versioning of system documentation in accordance with internal processes and ISO 26262 / A Spice standard
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities within CBI (optimization of internal processes, competitor benchmark and set-up of new development tools)

Key Professional Competencies

  • ISO 26262 / A Spice standard, requirements management and configuration management knowledge
  • Knowledge about mechatronics, FMEA and FTA
  • Knowledge tools: DOORS, ASCET, Matlab/Simulink, C code, CAN, FlexRay, Pack Office
  • Fluent English level - German appreciated

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in software experience in automotive / aeronautical / railway industry
