About The Opportunity

We are now looking for an experienced and professional Parts and Service Business Development Manager to join our Northern Regional team - based in our Brisbane office. The main focus of this role is to lead and support our Parts and Service business development activities across the Northern Region including Brisbane, Mackay, Townsville, and Emerald branches.

Your Duties Will Be

  • Lead the business development/improvement activities for parts and service across the Northern Region
  • Conduct deep business analytics to identify opportunities - and then develop and implement parts and service strategies / initiatives to deliver growth - both locally and nationally
  • Delivery, implementation and ongoing management of strategic initiatives and programs to drive the parts and service business
  • In conjunction with regional sales representatives, develop value adding offers for presentation to customers
  • Collate, interpret and analyse competitor information and pricing
  • Support local branch leaders coach and develop their regional sales teams - provide value adding commercial insights and offers.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need

  • At least three to five years' experience in a similar business development/improvement role - with a track record of implementing change and delivering growth to a business
  • Ability to develop strategies, and convert these to drive incremental business growth
  • Strong commercial acumen and exceptional analytical skills (advanced EXCEL is important)
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • An understanding of the mining/construction market will be an advantage but is not essential
  • Senior business level communication and presentation skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in business / engineering preferred
