About the Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to lead the HCMO accounting team and ensure accurate business financials are generated, and to assist with various financial accounting tasks. Reporting to the General Manager of IT & Finance, main responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of month end Management reports & all reporting requirements to HCMO , HCM & Hitachi Ltd.
  • Analysis, interpretation and delivery of financial information for use in operations, assisting with financial business decisions
  • Preparation of consolidated statutory accounts
  • Co-ordinate the audit of HCMO and manage the timetable for the delivery of the consolidated stat account audit
  • Preparation of month end management report pack
  • Ongoing daily review of accounts, identification of errors in accounting, and liaise with the team and relevant branch staff for rectification of the errors
  • Preparation of income tax return, transfer pricing documentation and fringe benefits tax
  • Preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecast

About You

To be successful for this position you would have previous experience in a similar role within a large corporate environment and have excellent customer service skills. You would also have the following skills:

  • CPA/ CA Qualified with solid experience post qualifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, notably Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Review and analytical skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a dynamic / multi-priority environment
