Your new role
this exciting new role, based at our state of the art facility in Newton
Aycliffe, you will responsible for operations
master scheduling and operational controls within rolling stock UK
you will be responsible for the following deliverables:
This role exists within the Planning team of Rolling
Stock UK. Planning activity exists within three layers:
& Scenario Planning & Control
Planning & Control
Planning & Control
This role is primarily focused on Operational Planning
& Control, whilst contributing as needed to broader planning activities.
Operational Planning within RSUK includes:
Car Body Welding
Car Body Painting
Ensuring the Master Production Schedule is valid,
ensuring supply chain and production plans support the on time delivery of RSUK
across multiple projects & contracts, while maintaining alignment with the
S&OP process (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning).
Supporting RSUK project delivery planning and supports
execution of S&OP processes.
Escalation of appropriate issues, challenges and risks
to the Master Schedules for all RSUK activities. The Master Scheduler is
empowered to challenge the inputs (change requests, resources and capacity
assumptions) to support the project delivery schedules.
Creation, checking, raising, and closing of Production
Orders to enable successful execution of activities and production control
(including material, cost, change monitoring) within RSUK.
and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) with information
supplied via the High Level & Project Plans, and aligned with
monitor & control MPS & SAP Build Plan with consideration of
safety, quality, delivery & cost, and release, as well as validate

Experience with MS Project
and Power BI is beneficial.
