The Opportunity

Due to an internal promotion, the IT team is seeking a passionate and highly motivated IT Service Desk Analyst to provide first and second level hardware and software support to our users. Based in our Forrestdale branch, you will take ownership of the role and be supported by your colleagues in Sydney.

Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager you will be responsible for the following:

  • Process requests via phone, ticketing system and email, providing first and second level support by analysing, troubleshooting and resolving requests for all application software, PC hardware and network related issues nationally
  • Managing faulty, damaged or new computer hardware stock
  • Complete computer rebuilds and new deployments ensuring computer equipment is setup and ready for use before employee commencement
  • Logging repair jobs with computer equipment supplies and managing the onsite repair
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and company policies to ensure compliance

With a genuine passion for, and interest in the ICT sector, you will ideally have demonstrated experience in a Help Desk environment and possess skills covering:

  • ITIL service management framework
  • Networks (LAN/WAN) including some phone handset or PABX experience
  • Hardware installation including; Computers, Printers and hand-held devices
  • Experience in Window 8.1 or later
  • Analysis and trouble-shooting of regular trends and the ability to provide effective solutions
  • Ability to priories and escalate issues based on critical need
