About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Interpreter in our Timaru Branch. This role is integral to the success of CablePrice and we are looking for someone with a willingness to learn and develop in their next role. The Parts Specialist is responsible for front line parts sales and support to our internal and external customers, as well as inventory management and parts purchasing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management and Department Operations
  • Customer Service and Relationship Management
  • Be an active and contributing member of the CPL team and communicate appropriately to all CablePrice employees.
  • Health and Safety

You will have:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proven organisational and planning skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal & written
  • The ability to positively engage with and influence all parts of the business
  • High level of computer literacy
  • The ability to perform under pressure and to prioritise and multitask in a time driven environment
  • Knowledge of the automotive or heavy transport industry would be desirable and will prove beneficial.
  • Individuals, who possess strong mechanical aptitude, or have experience in an automotive related industry or mechanics experience, may be considered for the role.
