Job PurposeIn charge, for the region, of :
Define Engineering needs and provide costing and supplier for new parts / new developments
Coordinate collection of customer RFQ BOM data to ensure quotation's fast time-to-market
Implement component costing model globally
Master cost data and optimize cost models
Key Accountabilities& Key ActivitiesProvide component costing - Define Engineering needs and provide costing and supplier for new parts / New Development
- Coordinate collection of customer RFQ BOM data to ensure quotations' fast time-to-market and input from Purchasing (all categories) to Finance Controlling Acquisition Team, for now/existing components (known cost) and unknown components (target cost). VR provides first costing and activates Category Managers, SDE, and supplier workshop.
Supervise cost models - Implement component Costing model globally including workshop with key suppliers
- Challenge Category Manager Acquisition and Sourcing cost performance (towards CLO, Finance, Plants) through e.g. organization of workshops with suppliers, SDE, Category Managers
- Master cost data and optimize cost models.
- Interface with Finance Controlling/ CLO/Engineering and ensure harmonization of category input
Governance and interface / relationships - Share best practice across the organization
- Interface to Finance Controlling team
- Financial Risk monitoring process

Qualification & Experience - Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering, Business studies or equivalent
