Your new role
We are recruiting for a Duty Shift Manager to join our team in Bristol at our state of the art Train Maintenance Centre. This is a permanent role working on a rotating shift basis.
The role is responsible for leading and managing a team of employees to carry out safety critical maintenance on a fleet of trains in accordance with the VMI. Will involve ensuring safety standards are upheld at all times and processes are followed correctly. When on shift the DSM is the first point of contact for all depot and maintenance issues. The Duty Shift Manager will have control of Maintenance teams overseeing, fault finding and repair of Hitachi rolling stock assets. Staff and team development, continuous improvement into productivity and efficiency.
