Your new role

In this exciting role you will be responsible for generation of  reporting the PR/GR stages of P2P

Supporting the implementation of the new business process,

Supporting teams in urgent situations by raising purchase requisitions and goods receipting

Specifically, you will be responsible for the following deliverables:

  • Support the different areas of the business within OS&M to generate Purchase requisitions in SAP
  • Support the implementation of the P2P process for Services/Consumables and Train Materials
  • Daily review of the Accounts Payable expeditor report to ensure queries are being allocated correctly.
  • Work with the Accounts Payable team to ensure that invoices are being paid in a timely manner.
  • Produce daily reporting to demonstrate the areas where we are not paying invoices.
  • Be responsible for recommending and implementing solutions to improve the process.
  • Define and deliver against relevant KPIs and provide regular reports to senior management as required.
  • To be aware of, actively promote, and implement Hitachi’s ethos, culture and values.
  • To be involved in Hitachi Rail’s staff development and training and participate in PDP procedures.
  • To adhere to the Hitachi Rail’s Equal Opportunities Policy.
  • To comply with and implement Hitachi Rail’s Health and Safety policy.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as may be required

About you

Key Skills & Experience

It is our expectation that successful applicants should be able to demonstrate the experience and skills listed below:

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in SAP and purchase to pay processes
  • Ability to analyse and understand accurate data as part of the GRN process
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels of the business
  • Ability to recommend new ways of working and support the implementation of  new processes
  • Good knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages in order to support reporting
  • Confident, with good communication and presentation skills.
