The Role

Functions as the Sales Operations Specialist for one or more Countries/Districts and is responsible for implementing and maintaining Sales Operations' operating plan in their territory. Provides end-to-end operational support throughout the sales cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting Analysis
    Support the Country/District Manager with BI reporting, by using all available tools: Salesforce, HOMT, etc
    Support Business Review process by:
    • Coordinating reporting with Sales management in Country/District
    • Ensuring complete and detailed input is received from all disciplines (Sales, Services, HR, F-A and Marketing) in Country/District
  • Forecasting
    • submit Country/District forecast in a timely manner
    • Ensure forecast accuracy within Country/District, in coordination with ASOM
    • Ensure accurate projection of revenue recognition numbers in Country/District
  • Logistics
    • Answer questions/escalation contact
    • Advocate to Region on behalf of Country/District to secure inventory for strategic deals
  • Support Deal Qualification Process
  • Support Quoting - Approval Workflow Process
  • Support Configuration - Pricing Process
  • Other
    • Champion sales tools and implement process changes in accordance with global HDS standards and policies in Country/District
    • Ensures Country/District compliance with global or regional standards and policies
    • Customer facing
    • Manage relationships with the DO for Country/District by ensuring they are fully aligned the Country/District's priorities
    • Responsible for the Customer segmentation maintenance in Salesforce
    • Establish effective partnerships with peers across the business

Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience supporting high performance sales teams
  • Demonstrated history of customer service skills in managing issues, expectations, and influencing outcomes
  • Experience ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook and Excel minimum)
  • Ability to understand solution offerings as they relate to your customer base including new product introductions, current products, and End of Life (EOL)
  • Substantial understanding and background in managing commercial issues including (but not limited to):
    • Solution quotations
    • Pricing strategies
    • New customer engagements
    • NDA's
    • Contract negotiations
    • Forecasting, opportunity and Pipeline management
    • RFP processes
    • Purchase order processes
    • Commit /delivery schedules
    • Incoterms/logistical issues
  • Substantial understanding and knowledge of:
    • Sales process
    • Forecasting, opportunity and pipeline management
    • Reporting and analysis
    • Sales cycle
    • Customer purchase drivers
  • Ability to cross-functionally influence people and processes while building and maintaining internal relationships Financial analytical and decision making skills and fully conversant with financial modelling, business indicators, financing solutions and financial trends
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize data from various sources, both internal and external
