The RoleHitachi Vantara is scouting for an Azure Cloud Architect to join our Corporate IT team. Public Cloud is starting to emerge as a differentiator for Hitachi Vantara as part of our hybrid cloud products like Hitachi Enterprise Cloud, Smart Data Center and Industrial IoT solutions. With Unified Offering Management in Global Services and DataOps in Corporate IT, public cloud services has now become a strategic partnership. Given the nature of Hitachi Vantara, it will always have a hybrid and multi cloud strategy.
Responsibilities- Ensure organization is setup on Azure with managed groups and blueprints
- Enforce operational and security controls through blueprints for various workloads and teams
- Setup proper governance and security controls to protect Vantara IP and customer data
- Establish SSO and RBAC controls for individual users
- Define and implement hub and spoke network for hybrid cloud connectivity, with a shared subscription for common services and scores of subscriptions for workload segregation
- Define and implement security best practices, push security and audit logs to Hitachi Vantara's SEIM solution
- Automate wherever possible and integrate with Service portal to enable self-service
- Provide vWAN and basic Azure network troubleshooting and analysis using Microsoft best practices
- Build and implement secure VNETs for corporate connectivity, managed services, or product use
- Provide input to design, implement and support appropriate solution and technical architectures
- Help with the leadership and mentoring of technical resources
- Provide input to develop patterns and practices including proof-of-concept, prototype and demonstration systems
- Optimize workload costs and efficiently running hybrid environments
- Help with the creation of cost and pricing models for our internal customers
Qualifications- Experience with Azure security center and workgroups
- Able to monitor Azure health and overall administration
- Knowledge of HA environment solutions and redundancy regionally and locally
- An understanding on how to use Graph and basic application deployments for Graph
- Strong understanding of enterprise registered apps
- Understanding of Azure DevOps and Azures IaaS - PaaS for modernized on-premises infrastructure
- Experienced in working in Agile/DevOps environment with CI/CD and application lifecycle management
- Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker, Openshift, Kubernetes, etc. is a plus

Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara's variable pay program, subject to the program's conditions and restrictions."
