The Opportunity

Our Mining Assembly department has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join the team in the position of Service Coordinator. Based in Wacol, you will be responsible for the planning and organisation of new machine builds, ensuring all paperwork is processed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner. Main responsibilities include:

• Updating the project schedule to ensure desired build times are achieved
• Raise and track purchase orders
• Developing and maintaining all documentation for each build
• Tracking and managing costs related to individual builds
• Coordinating subcontractors and reviewing supplier performance
• Completing warranty claims and FIR submissions

As the ideal candidate you will have:

• Previous experience in a workshop, scheduling or project coordination role
• Ability to interpret and relay specific customer requirement to suppliers
• Exposure to warranty claim control systems
• Contractor control and supply chain understanding
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles
• Intermediate level of Microsoft excel, word, project & power point
