Pre-sales Technical Project Manager (m/f/d)

DACH Region (Germany, Austria ,Switzerland)

Your responsibilities:

• Evaluate technical applications and clearly define the customer requirements
• Create and definition of  specification and solution based components cooperating with internal R&D (Japan) and external 3rd party providers
• Manage the delivery of the solution to the customer and keep to an agreed schedule for the FAT and SAT

• Assist the Sales in drawing up commercial proposals and Support Tender Business at OEM and Key Accounts

• Develop the appropriate service level agreements
• Develop operation/training guides for the individual Hitachi solution and support Hitachi organiz
• ation to provide those trainings

• Create and communicate innovative technical strategies to meet long term goals and deliver value-added solutions
• Identify opportunities for Hitachi software solutions and provide effective support for handover to the software solution manager
• Support to evaluate the competitiveness of Hitachi’s solution based on the value it delivers

Your Skills:

• Engineering or science degree with significant commercial experience
• Ability to translate application requirements into clear technical specifications
• Good knowledge of the coding and marking or product identification market or automation products
• Innovative, creative and structured approach to problem solving
• Deep Project management and planning skills, ideal PMP, PRINCE” or Lean Six Sigma certificate
• Managing agile teams, e.g. product and service delivery teams, with an ability to influence and motivate customer’s staff, Hitachi colleagues, distributors and suppliers at all levels
• Excellent command of English
