SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

Job description
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Business Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Genoa Italy.

Accountabilities
For the assigned Geographic Area:
• Ensure the data collection for orders forecasting activity and support
the project forecasting data consolidation and approval process at BU
Level.
• Ensure assigned Customers relationship management monitoring and
actioning.
• Ensure the implementation of the defined guidance on new
business/market analysis & scouting, partnerships M&As and JVs
• Contribute to the standardization of Sales processes, procedures and
tools and their implementation at global level by assessing and
acquiring evidence of Sales processes implementation in each
geographic area
• Contribute to implement the process improvement actions defined at
BU level.
• Contribute to the implementation of the BU Business Development
strategy as per the order budget plan yearly rolled out (e.g. scouting of
possible partnership, fostering of institutional relationship,...)
• Contribute to the competitiveness analysis of Company's technical
solutions and products through Market Intelligence activities (e.g.
technical and economic analysis on previous and on going bids,...)
• Cooperate, for the assigned bids, with Bidding team during
tendering phases (e.g. technical advise in case of solution not
included Company portfolio, ...)
• Support the BU in standardizing and following processes, procedures
and best practices in the assigned Area

Job requirements
Required Skills/ Knowledge:
From 3 up to 5 years of expertise in Business activities
Timely and compliant execution of BU Projects reporting and analysis in
line with the BU Manager requests and Company budgeting/forecasting
schedule
Education / Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and PM Certification or Equivalent Technical Background

Languages
Good knowledge and ability in understanding Other languages will be an important plus
