This position is responsible for providing project administration support. This role monitors project tasks and assists with the tracking of project controls during planning and execution of project activities, applying basic skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations. The PMO consultant will operate within defined parameters using a proven Project Management Methodology.
The role has exciting career progression opportunities. As the PMO consultant becomes more familiar with the Hitachi methodologies, processes and polices around project management and delivery, he/she will have the opportunity to progress to Senior or Lead PMO positions with the longer term aim of becoming a project manager.Qualifications
- Newly qualified graduates with less than three years' professional experience
- Degree in Management Assistance, Project Management, Business management, Economics or similar
- Fluency in English both written and oral
- Credible client facing personality
- Strong presentation/communication/facilitation skills (oral and written)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity tools
- Good organisational skills
- A strong sense of responsibility and autonomy
- Ability to work independently and well within a team
- Availability to travel abroad
- French or German speaking (Desirable)
Through a structured on-boarding and training programme, starting in September 2021, Hitachi Solutions will prepare successful candidates for roles on Hitachi lead projects mainly in the UK. These project roles will allow for fast-paced learning via hands-on experience and the opportunity to work with the best consultants in Europe and the biggest projects in Dynamics365 in the world.
