Summary of the position:

Our Data Analytics Specialist, Finance will be responsible for transforming data into insightful business information that will assist the Sullair leadership team in their decision-making process.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage finance customer and product line databases and sales tools for financial reporting.
  • Support through the analysis of data using preferred BI platform.
  • Work cross-functionally on business solutions as directed to develop and deliver sophisticated analytic solutions that support strategic business initiatives.
  • Develop and leverage financial analytics to deliver profitable growth.
  • Data modeling of Sullair customer and product portfolio.
  • Provide analytical support to finance team.
  • Subject matter expert in all aspects relating to data collection and analysis for internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, mathematics, statistics or related discipline required or equivalent experience.

Professional experience:

  • 2+ years of data engineering experience (data modeling, database development, SQL, Access, etc.)
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and initiatives required.
  • Ability to build relationships with, and informally influence, external business partners to drive improved performance.
  • Strong data programming, analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency experience with Power BI, Access and Excel preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required; must be able to engage and communicate effectively with senior leaders.
