Hitachi Construction Machinery's Mining Support Group plays a key role globally in supporting our major customers by ensuring the link between customer, dealer and factory across our range of mining and construction products.

The Role

To support our Dealership in Kazakhstan, we are happy to announce an opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to ensure the performance of Hitachi Mining Excavators onsite. In this role, you will be on a 12 month contract with a view for extension. You will provide supervision and technical support for a Fleet of Hitachi Mining Excavators in Kazakhstan.

Reporting to the Dealer's Head Office, your responsibilities include:

• To ensure business performance satisfactorily meets the expectations of the customer.
• To ensure KPIs are monitored correctly, targets are met and results are correctly communicated to the customer.
• To ensure Job Safety across all crew members when executing tasks with risk to their physical integrity and property
• To ensure all resources, such as labour, parts, tooling and support equipment are available as per plan issue by the planner
• All major failures reported via FIR and preliminary root-cause analysis performed with team
• To ensure the Mining Fleet is inspected in detail before and after services and interventions, and is released back to production in acceptable conditions agreed with the Customer
• All tooling, equipment and vehicles are inspected at least monthly with recorded checklists

To be successful, you will need:

• Industry Knowledge - High OEM level understanding of heavy mobile earthmoving equipment - relevant tertiary / trade qualifications in Business & Operations Management would be advantageous
• Customer Focus - Relentless and contagious commitment to fostering successful partnerships to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction
• Technical Knowledge - A developed mechanical aptitude and understanding of earthmoving equipment is essential to this role - previous experience with Hitachi EX equipment will be a distinct advantage
