Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for leading the test engineering team which includes the in-circuit test and functional test systems. You will have the opportunity to improve existing test systems and will be working with other test engineers and technicians, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing, and design engineering on projects as well as directly with production floor personnel.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Guiding the test engineering team in daily activities.
  • Preparing for new models launches.
  • Optimize the test process by reducing downtime and improving change-over methods and test reliability.
  • Manage, lead, and mentor the test group including hiring, training, and evaluating the performance of the team.
  • Support the cross functional improvement teams as needed.
  • Administers and ensures compliance with current safety policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in manufacturing, electrical, or mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in test process environment.
  • 5+ years previous management experience and proven ability to manage staff.
