About the Company

HE Parts Engineering are a part of the HE Parts International Group.  We provide all machining services for Mining, Oil and Gas and a variety of other commercial customers. Over the last 30 years, we have built a reputation of a consistently high level of service.

Due to our growth and our recent purchase of a new state-of-the-art workshop and new Lathes and Milling machines, we are looking for new Machinist to join our team.

About the role

A fantastic opportunity is available for experienced and enthusiastic Machinist. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operation of the machine, its maintenance, cleanliness, productivity and standard of work produced.

The successful candidate will be highly skilled professional, able to work with great concentration and precision. You will be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are also essential.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Able to read and fully understand engineering drawings.
  • Ability to setup & operate machines
  • Day to day cleanliness & maintenance of machines
  • Adhere to HEPEs safety management systems.
  • Training and buddy up on large machines provided if lacking experience

To be successful in these positions you will need:

  • Enhanced mechanical analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of safety awareness and attention to detail
  • Trades certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline
