Meet our Team

Our software sales account managers take to market the full range of our market leading software suite. Our portfolio spans, Data Integration, Big data, Analytics, Data Cataloging/ML, Edge and DataOps solutions. In this role you are responsible for the end to end sales cycle from prospecting through to closing. You will support Field Sales and Account Executives with building the funnel and take ownership of the smaller deals through to execution.

Our teams represent Hitachi Vantara to enterprise clients across industries, establishing business relationships to understand customer challenges so that we can deliver profitable business for our solutions. We collaborate as a team and cross-functionally to ensure the success of our customers; success that is celebrated and shared. What you'll be doing

As an account executive you will be performing end to end new business sales from prospecting, scoping, validating, negotiating and then closing the sale. You are supported by SDR's (sales development reps) Customer Success, Client/Account Directors and our presales teams.

What you bring to the team
  • Proven sales track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets in a new business development role.
  • An understanding of the customers data agenda and pain points and how to address these to execute software sales.
  • Ability to understand and clearly articulate our software (Lumada Suite) to customers, building the business case and ROI
  • Highly motivated with a "hunter spirit" to develop new opportunities and grow business.
  • Experience with CRM and systems including (but not limited to) Salesforce.
