What you'll be doing
  • Working in an international team and attending project meetings several times a week to support Europe and India
  • Maintaining the proper health, uptime, and functioning of the Okta SSO platform, providing problem diagnosis and troubleshooting support to resolve issues and mature the management of users, groups, policies
  • Working hands-on with Okta to document architecture and processes and design and drive automation that helps achieve resilient and robust platforms
  • Leveraging your acute attention to detail and expert knowledge of onboarding and integrating applications into the Single Sign On (SSO) platform
  • Closely collaborating with other teams to support troubleshooting and complete project tasks (InfoSec Architecture, Networking, Sysadmin, Active Directory and application development teams)
  • Testing and evaluating changes and performing deployments during change windows whilst following proper change management and problem management procedures

What you bring to the team
  • Experience working in large enterprise scale Okta environments (more than 10,000 users) with an ability to adapt to new technologies and variables in a dynamic and fast moving project environment
  • Expert level understanding of authentication mechanisms and protocols (LDAP and SAML) and key related security concepts such as MFA, and how these are used with Okta and Active Directory
  • A self-driven approach to supporting projects to accomplish budget and timeline goals, whilst juggling multiple priorities
  • Full command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Powerpoint, and Visio
  • Good understanding of Privileged Access Management concepts and experience using a PAM tool, such as CyberArk or Thycotic is desirable
  • Experience with Okta workflows is highly desirable to allow for automation of tasks
