About the Team at Hitachi

“The mobility landscape is changing and shifting towards digital. A key pattern is the disruption of existing mobility models, combined with a convergence of previously unconnected areas, driven by digital. Most of these transformations are driven either by a focus on better customer experience to increase the value per customer e.g., Uber, or a more efficient use of existing transport infrastructure by increasing utilisation and reliability. Our customers are being increasingly disrupted in the market, and our priority is to provide new digital services as an overlay to our existing propositions, to allow them to be successful by focusing on their customers.

Hitachi have launched an accelerator that cuts across all of the mobility focussed innovation that happens at Hitachi. Hitachi is a key player in public transport solutions, and the accelerator develops a strong central vision for what digital mobility means for Hitachi and what our overarching strategy is. Sitting between our core innovation teams, and the commercial teams, the unit’s core goal is to drive new propositions into the market at scale.

Role Purpose

As part of a pan-European multidisciplinary team consisting of business development, IT and sector experts to develop new cutting-edge solutions with clients in our core focus areas.
