The Opportunity

Our Brisbane Cooperate Support office has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated National Projects Manager to join our successful Fleet Management System (FMS) team. Reporting to the National Manager - FMS, your main responsibilities will be to own the scope for all customer projects through to successful completions and provide customers with a superior level of support through our team of technical specialists. Your other responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the sales team, the senior management team and the customer to define and capture the scope of work and deliverables for all deployment projects
  • Develop and coach services team members to achieve project and support goals
  • Manage and coordinate all customer training needs and identify areas for additional revenue through training
  • Manage the cross-functional deployment team to successfully deploy all projects to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • To identify and maximise our sales opportunities through creating and maintaining long term satisfied customers.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have these skills:

  • Working knowledge of the open cut mining process and technology applications
  • A good understanding of GPS based machine guidance and Fleet Management systems
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office software including MS PowerPoint
  • Strong blend of business skills, technical skills, analytical skills and customer skills
  • Excellent communication skills for managing a high performing team in a fast paced environment
  • Formal training in Project Management and/or Degree/ Trade / Engineering qualifications will be highly regarded
