Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is a global OEM brand that sells and supports a variety of high quality machinery and equipment for the construction and mining industries. Our National Support Centre supports our customers and branches nationally 7 days a week.

The Role

We have a new and exciting opportunity available for a Parts Interpreter to join our National Support Centre working from our Revesby or Greystanes office. This position will make you the first point of contact for inbound queries relating to machinery spare parts. By providing exceptional customer service you will interpret and identify appropriate parts whilst providing thorough parts technical advice on quality Hitachi products.

Responsibilities include:

  • Being the first point of contact for inbound queries relating to spare parts but not limited to; pricing, parts, availability of stock, order enquires and much more
  • Using electronic parts diagram or parts catalogue to identify and source parts for customers
  • Reviewing customer orders ensuring they are correct, applying a high level of attention to detail
  • As the ideal candidate you will possess the following key attributes:
  • Parts interpreter experience knowledge within the related industries such as Construction/mining equipment, Agriculture, Material Handling and Automotive industries will be a distinct advantage
  • A helpful and adaptable approach when understanding customer needs with an ability to navigate and solve complex issues
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse range stakeholders from various areas of our business, internally and externally
  • Excellent time management and ability to be able to multitask and navigate between system and databases
