The Opportunity

Upon the completion of our brand new, purpose-built Super Distribution Centre, our busy Parts division has a new opportunity for an experienced warehouse administrator to join the Hitachi family.

Based in Wacol, this position will see you joining our parts warehouse where your main focus will be to provide end-to-end administrative support, such as:

  • Maintaining branch records and documents
  • Preparing payroll every fortnight
  • Processing relevant paperwork in a timely manner including expense claims, invoices, supplier information forms, overseas shipment paperwork and safety documentation
  • Maintain and ensure compliance of quality assurance
  • Organising staff training/toolbox meetings/workplace inspections
  • Assisting with processing of discrepancies and stock adjustments as requested

The secondary focus of this role is to support the warehouse working hands on with duties such as picking and packing (this will make up approximately 25 percent of your role).

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong, developed awareness and commitment to Hitachi's number one priority - safety
  • Previous experience in a similar warehouse administration or parts support role
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics will be a distinct advantage, confident use of CRM is essential to this role as you will be responsible for raising work orders, receipting, invoicing and accurate data management
  • Personable and professional communication skills
