Description

Summary of the position:

Cycle-counting is an auditing procedure involving inventorying a small subset of inventory in a specific location on a specific day.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform cycle counting duties to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Analyze cycle counts for variances in quantities counted versus quantities on hand.
  • Log discrepancies as turn backs.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly audits for inventory control.
  • Utilizes computer systems to inquire and retrieve necessary documents for inventory needs.
  • Set up new locations/remove obsolete locations.
  • Assist with annual physical inventory.
  • Complete transactions associated with inventory control.
  • Receive, Stock, Ship, and perform other Warehouse duties, as needed.
  • Operate a Drexel and Forklift.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Professional experience:

  • General computer skills required; Excel a plus.
  • Ability to run and analyze inventory reports.
  • Problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to ID parts from drawings.
  • Ability to communicate with other departments.
  • Must successfully complete DOT HAZ-MAT training.
  • Must successfully complete Drexel and Forklift training.
  • Willingness to flex to other areas as business needs dictate.
