Hitachi Europe Ltd (HEU) are looking for a Customer Solutions Architect to join the Information Technology Group (ITG). This role will report into the Head of Customer Solutions & Projects and will operate across the department to define how corporate solutions are best deployed to customers. The successful candidate will help architect the solution design for customers whilst ensuring it fits within the corporate parameters to ensure the successful delivery of a coherent and high-level customer service.
This role will also act as a technical project manager to implement solutions autonomously, such as the rollout of existing solutions to smaller customers. The successful candidate will work as part of the design authority team and will have responsibility to consider customer needs and adopt solutions as appropriate.
The key stakeholders for this role will be HEU & ITG management team, ITG, customers (Hitachi Europe Ltd and the Hitachi Operating Companies), regional Companies (RHQ/RC), ITSD Japan, the Shared Services Management Team and infrastructure suppliers.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Solution architecture & designs
Development of implementation plans
Delivery of customers solutions
Support with enterprise cloud operations
Demonstration of solution architecture expertise e.g. O365, Okta, Zscaler and Azure
Collaboration with Project Managers to ensure projects meet the brief
Delivery of a high-level customer service, ensuring that all customer communications are dealt with promptly
Regular provision of project progress reports
Key Skills and Experience
Solution architecture experience
A strong IT technical background
Delivery of high-level customer service
Understanding of O365, Okta, Zscaler and high-level networking
Strong communications skills
Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
