Shift/s Available for this position:

Day shift Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintains a safe and effective working environment for the facilities technicians.
  • Supervise & train facilities maintenance technicians.
  • Monitors the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior of facilities.
  • Coordinates work to be completed by contractors and facilities technicians.
  • Schedules routine inspections and repairs for fire, compressed air & HVAC systems.
  • Maintains the facilities team’s training program.
  • Supports internal customers: manufacturing engineering, production, maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years experience with construction, plumbing, electrical wiring, compressed air, fire, HVAC & other building systems.
  • Computer savvy.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Self motivated individual with good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and efficient problem solving skills.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the direction and supervision of employees.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to push, pull and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, hear, and see (with visual acuity). The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods of time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Combination of office and plant environment.  PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses, steel toe shoes, hearing protection, etc. may be required while performing specific tasks or while in specific manufacturing areas.
