Corporate Finance Planning - Analysis (FP-A) is a robust, dynamic, stakeholder-oriented team in Finance that partners with Hitachi Vantara Central Functions on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting that support the organization's financial health and business strategy. Our team provides strategic support to Senior Management on enterprise-wide planning, analysis, and reporting. Our team is responsible for the production and administration of several key finance deliverables.What you'll be doing
In this role, you will partner with Corporate Central Function groups, i.e. HR/Legal/Corp Strategy, to assist these groups in executing against their organizational and operational goals.
You will provide data analysis and reporting to enable successful business support. This includes closing and performing financial analysis on financial results against key metrics and variance reporting.
You will collaborate with Financial Shared Services Teams to ensure close processes are completed and financial reporting is accurate and compliant.
You will spearhead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes. You will work with the business groups to identify opportunities for cost saving and/or performance improvement across the organization.
You will develop financial models and business cases to assist business decision-making.What you bring to the team
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning - analysis, investment banking, or other related fields.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modelling.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to accuracy and detail required.
- Strong communicator, both verbal and in written.
