The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Permanent Full-Time Dynamics Functional Business Analyst starting immediately.

HCMO is an extensive user of Dynamics F&O, with circa 1500 user across Australia and New Zealand.

In this role, you will be part of the in house Dynamics 365 support (DMS) team, and work closely with the in house D365 technical consultants to resolve 1st and 2nd level support issues raised by our end users.

The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and a sound knowledge and certifications in D365 or AX 2012 F&O - Finance and Operations Module.

You will report to the Program Manager and work under the directions and guidance of the Lead Technical Consultant D365 F&O along with experience on Working with ERP Systems.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Functioning as the 1st and 2nd level support for end user support issues
  • Champion in D365 F&O users processes
  • Engaging with end users and resolving support issues based on the SLAs defined
  • Engaging with the D365 F&O developer to investigate and complete root cause analysis on support issues
  • Document the changes to the system
  • Completing the FDDs and securing business (end user) sign off for customisations/modifications and/or business requirements for reports
  • Engaging with the end users and the development team to define acceptance criteria and test cases, for the customisations/modifications
  • Working with the SMEs and end user to complete functional and regression testing, for the fortnightly releases
  • Working with the SMEs and end user to complete functional and regression testing, D365 F& O version updates

Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • 5 + years' experience working as a functional consultant in Dynamics F & O, functioning as a 1st and 2nd level support consultant
  • Certified D365 or Dynamics AX 2012 F&O functional application areas including but not limiting to finance, supply chain and project operations
  • A strong accounting background
  • 5 + years' experience in documenting business requirements and preparing Functional Design Document
  • 5 + years' experience writing test cases and working with business users to complete end to end functional and regression testing Experience with SQL Server
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate (Flow), PowerApps & PowerBI
  • Experience in process automation within D365
