Legal Director (m/f/d)

In this position you will be providing assistance and support to the business functions for all topics related to business law matters and pro-actively protect company interests and assets. You will be reporting to the Global Legal Counsel.

Your core responsibilities include:

Corporate Compliance

  • Support the preparation and follow up Board meeting agenda of Holding companies
  • Follow up corporate compliance of group subsidiaries in connection with local teams.

Contract Management and legal monitoring

  • Consolidate and handle bank of legal documents such as principles Sales/Purchasing contracts
  • Follow and review changes and evolutions in laws and legal requirements
  • Inform about new legal requirements to impacted departments and entities.

Commercial Support

  • Provide support to operational departments (Sales, Purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, Quality…) for contract negotiation and drafting
  • Provide advice and analysis for legal issues


  • Provide legal support in litigations
  • Liaise relationships with external legal firms in charge of the Company’s interests

Profile and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in law or equivalent
  • You bring at least 5 years of working experience in a legal department
  • You have knowledge of international contracting and business law and gained experience preferably in a top-level law firm and/or inhouse with a global company (preferably Automotive Industry)
  • You are an excellent team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English is a must.
  • You have the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision, customer service (internal and external) attitude and attention to detail.
  • Most importantly: Willingness to embrace new legal systems and unfamiliar areas of practice with a hands-on attitude
  • Strong (multicultural) negotiation skills and business acumen
