Designing and building the first US driverless rail transit system, factory and humanoid robots, the ultimate electron microscope to develop advanced materials or the ultra-small RFID to support global research on bees—it's all in a day’s work for Hitachi engineers. Hitachi Social Innovation Business is currently looking for a PR & Events Manager to join our Marketing and Communication team globally with a focus on North America market.
We are looking for a self-motivated and creative communications professional with a proactive attitude to join our Global Marketing and communication team to enhance the organization awareness and positioning with the goal to create new business partnerships and leads. Reporting to the Vice President, the resource will oversee a network of countries, with an immediate focus on North America. He/she will work in strong collaboration with the Business team, the Strategy team as well as with external agencies to deliver all activities related to PR initiatives and Events on specific business topics.
The candidate will build the overall strategy for PR and Events working in close collaboration with the rest of the team to prepare an effective plan to create awareness, build strong positioning and create business leads. He/she has an excellent capability in writing and a strong knowledge of agencies/media/industry partners in US. He/she is also used to working with different teams, and autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills are a necessary requirement.
