  • Establish & improve preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. 
  • Lead modifications and continuous improvement of existing equipment to improve reliability, accuracy.
  • Directly involved with replacement of existing equipment and/or additional model lines, ensuring HIAMS Standard and seamless launch on behalf of Production Maintenance.
  • Provides and implements engineering solutions to achieve the quality and production availability targets of the plant as it relates to production equipment.
  • Provide OJT and classroom training on but not limited to mechanical, electrical, PLC/CNC controls, & troubleshooting principles and applications.
  • Provide in depth analysis in conjunction with management to identify repeat, systemic, MTTR and MTBR related issues to find root cause and lead in providing permanent countermeasures to eliminate issues.'
  • Provide analysis and assist in planning to keep equipment updated on OSHA, ANSI, & NEC code requirements.

  • Bachelors Degree with a focus in the mechanical or electrical field.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and professionalism with team members, other departments, and management.
  • 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance or College degree in engineering or technology discipline
  • Special skills required Advanced PLC programming and networking on multiple platforms. Advanced troubleshooting on but not limited to mechanical, electrical, controls & automation. System integration abilities for automation.
  • Effective communication skills in regards to training team members and presenting to management
  • Due to us being a 24/7 operation this position may require being called in for support during off duty hours.


Training, Technical guidance and related delegation of technical tasks


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk. The employee occasionally is required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.


Required to use safety glasses and wear steel toe shoes while performing specific tasks or while in specific manufacturing areas.  Works on equipment that involves hazardous environments requiring protective equipment that conforms to OSHA regulations and some physical discomfort due to temperature, dust and noise.
