What you’ll be doing
The Global Research and Cost Lead is responsible for leading a team that provides guidance on global total rewards research. They are the expert in total rewards leading practices and research, creating models and evaluating benefits, compensation, and retirement options as part of Hitachi’s Total Rewards Strategy. Their team conducts competitive market analysis and understand the global and regional rewards partner landscape. The Global Research & Cost Lead partners with the Total Rewards COE and the Business to design and maintain a competitive total rewards strategy for Hitachi.
This role will be a mixture of remote working and based from Hitachi’s office in Krakow.
What you bring to the team
We’re looking for a team player, who is motivated by delivering great work and the Hitachi vision. Some of the skills and experience we look for includes:
Leads and provides guidance to the Global Research & Cost team
Partners with the Total Rewards COE the development of Total Rewards (benefits, compensation, and retirement) strategy, programs, and policies
Identifies internal and external data sources for model simulations and competitive analysis
Conducts regular global internal rewards (including compensation) analysis
Analyzes external compensation, retirement, and benefits market benchmarks against current Hitachi practices
Evaluates internal rewards equity across key demographics and benchmarks
Assists with regulatory compliance and documentation, including compensation information
Scouts and establishes relationships with global, regional, and local rewards partners in partnership with the Total Rewards COE
Researches and proposes total rewards updates based on leading practice findings and competitive market analysis
Assesses impacts of changes to rewards strategy and policies
Utilizes analytics and reporting to align Total Rewards programs and policies with budget requirements
Collaborates with Total Rewards COE and the Business to define Hitachi’s Global Total Rewards Strategy
Serves as a subject matter expert and point of escalation for rewards research and cost modeling inquiries
