What you’ll be doing

The Learning Administration Manager is responsible for managing and providing guidance on global learning operations. They manage a team that provides administrative and learning operations support to Hitachi’s employees, contractors, and learning partners as part of Hitachi’s overall talent development strategy. The Manager also closely partners with the Learning Management System (LMS) Technology team, HiNext(Workday) team, and Talent Development COE to design and deliver a seamless learning experience for Hitachi.

This role will be a mixture of remote working and based from Hitachi’s office in Bangalore.

What you bring to the team

We’re looking for a team player, who is motivated by delivering great work and the Hitachi vision.  Some of the skills and experience we look for includes:

  • Leads and provides guidance to the Global Learning Administration team

  • Monitors service delivery trends and SLA completion rates, suggesting execution improvements and changes as necessary

  • Maintain Hitachi’s global course catalogue in the Learning Management System

  • Set up courses and sessions in the LMS and manage session scheduling

  • Communicate learning course availability and enrollment updates with learning stakeholders

  • Support scheduling, enrollment, and registration of in-person, virtual, and online courses

  • Arrange learner accommodations (e.g., transportation, dietary accommodations, accessibility) as requested

  • Communicate and confirm course logistics with learner, involving stakeholders (e.g., learning designer) as necessary

  • Manage procurement and shipment of course materials, supplies, and technology equipment

  • Prepare physical spaces for learner instruction, including material layout, signage, etc.

  • Partner with LMS and HiNext teams to configure and manage learner profiles

  • Capture and report on overall learner attendance and course evaluations, including instructor feedback and learner satisfaction

  • Acts as point of escalation for Tier 1 learning inquiries, redirecting complex or unusual inquiries to the Design & Delivery Team, Talent Development COE, or the Business
