The Opportunity

Our Corporate Support office in Greystanes has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Training Consultant to join our team. In this fast-paced role, your key focus will be designing and developing a comprehensive training package of our Products to support the capability uplift of our people. This is a fixed term, 12-month contract with a strong possibility of extensions.

Reporting to the Training Project Manager, this role will oversee the development of a training program for our mining business. The duties of the role will involve:

  • Developing a competency matrix
  • Developing facilitator guides and lesson plans
  • Developing learner collateral such as workbooks and other material
  • Developing presentation material in PPT
  • Working with local and international SMEs to obtain technical information
  • Working with the wider business to develop graphic and 3D material to support learning objectives
  • Working with instructional designers to develop eLearning content

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A track record of working to deadlines in a project environment, ideally on technical subject matter
  • The ability to set and work towards clearly defined goals
  • Advanced communication skills to interpret technical jargon into easy to understand learning material
  • Be comfortable working with technical content & technical SMEs
  • An analytical mind-set with strong planning skills
  • High level interpersonal skills to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • The ability to work under pressure and to a broader project schedule
