The Opportunity

Based at our Gracefield support office this is an exciting opportunity to get out of town and make a difference to Human Resource management within an industrial organisation with a nation-wide presence. Reporting to the General Manager - Finance and Administration, you will be the experienced senior and supervisor for a small Human Resources team responsible for supporting people managers across our busy branch network.

As the Lead Human Resource Advisor, you will:

  • Support the GM Finance to decide, plan and implement people strategy and initiatives. As required, this might extend to developing frameworks within the team or managing external specialists to do so.
  • Supervise the day-to-day HR operations and provide experienced guidance to the team.
  • Ensure credible and influential advice and support to business managers across the spectrum of HR issues.
  • Work collaboratively with CablePrice staff responsible for Recruitment, Health & Safety, Learning & Development.

About YouTo be successful in this role you will have 7+ years' Human Resources experience to at least Senior Advisor level in a company with a multi-site footprint. You will possess strong business acumen and a demonstrated ability to provide pragmatic advice and support to busy people leaders. You will need to have:

  • An enthusiastic and nurturing team-based work ethic
  • A strong understanding of applicable ER laws and regulations
  • Relevant formal qualifications in HR
  • Flexibility to travel nationally when required
  • Ideally experience in an industrial or technically focused company
