Job Description

  • Analyse business processes in the Finance modules to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Gather and understand client functional requirements
  • Gather and understand client functional solution
  • Act as a primary contact for issues in the Finance area of the system - AR, AP, GL, Fixed assets, Tax, Cash & Bank
  • Identify creative workarounds to meet requirements without the development of custom code
  • Design changes in the system based on customer business requirements
  • Understand the functional capabilities and limitations for out of the box functionality as well as custom code
  • Create functional specifications
  • Provide support to existing F&O clients
  • Investigate and provide solutions to incidents and problems


  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX/ D365 Finance
  • Demonstrable working experience in the finance area
  • Strong working knowledge of business processes
  • Relevant Microsoft certification is preferable
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • A logical approach to problem solving and the structured introduction of change into operational systems
  • Can-do attitude
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good command of English, German is an advantage
  • Willingness to expand knowledge in the other areas of the system (ex. Project management and accounting)
