The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a motivated, organised and reliable Administration officer to join our Mackay team. In this permanent full-time role, your core focus will be the administration function of the branch.

Reporting to the branch manager, the main responsibilities include:

  • Controlling and matching documentation relating to goods received;

  • Process all receipted invoices in the system;

  • Raise purchase orders;

  • Maintain the Freight Book daily;

  • Managing the reception area;

  • Data entry;

About You

Our aim is to provide the best customer service through an empowered, talented, and responsive team. To achieve this we are looking for someone with previous experience in operating similar equipment. You will also have:

  • A commitment to working in a safe manner, abiding by all safety processes and procedures

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in similar role.

  • Able to plan, develop and maintain electronic and paper-based filing systems.

  • Able to work in busy conditions, subject to tight timeframes and with competing demands.

  • Computer literate with Microsoft products, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.

  • Knowledge of Pronto system or similar ERP systems.

  • Solid grasp of numbers and high degree of accuracy for statistics and reporting.

  • Intermediate Computer skills;

  • Understanding of Safe Operating Procedures;

  • Commitment to quality and the concepts of continuous improvement.
