The Opportunity

HCA has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Field Service Supervisor. Based in our Brisbane branch, the key focus of this role is to provide excellent customer service to our customers by prompt and efficient scheduling of the Field Service team. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will also:

  • Provide prompt and consistent communication to customers, keeping them informed throughout their enquiry
  • Proactively resolve customer issues and think laterally in order to provide solutions
  • Provide empathy to customers and share a value for achieving the optimum uptime on equipment
  • Ensure our field service employees comply with all WHS responsibilities, and that above all, a safety first culture is a consistent behaviour within the team
  • Mentor, guide and support the team to improve performance and efficiencies
  • Ensure efficient utilization of company equipment and resources
  • Provide technical guidance and support to field service team members
  • Supervise the time sheet accuracy and sub-contract documentation to enable prompt job costing
  • Provide timely and accurate quotations for field service activities

As the ideal candidate you will also have:

  • Experience in a similar position with the ability to demonstrate exceptional communication and customer service skills while managing your time efficiently within a high paced work environment
  • A strong ability to navigate complex issues, and be ambitious in achieving success
  • A strong understanding in financial best practices of service delivery including labour, overtime, overnight accommodation and travel recovery
  • Attention to detail in documenting and follow-up
  • A Safety First leadership style
  • A technical understanding of earthmoving equipment, or relevant trade qualifications equal to or within a related field. Previous OEM experience will be highly advantageous
