About the Opportunity

Due to successful growth and an internal promotion within our Emerald branch, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Project Coordinator to join our service department. This position will have you planning, scheduling and coordinating large service projects including new mining builds, major shutdowns and projects for highly valued customers within the region.

General Responsibilities:

  • Oversee scheduled work to ensure efficient utilization of labour, equipment and resources to effectively deliver the services required by customer support staff and retail customers.
  • Ensure JSA's and safe work procedures are used and kept up to date, and are made available on HCA's intranet.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with customers, peers and other departments.
  • Identification and implementation of continuous improvements ideas within your area of responsibility.
  • Perform work in a safe manner.
  • To be conversant with and take an active par In all quality procedures.

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Experience - Managing a team if Tradesperson, project Management, departmental Budget responsibility and sound technical Knowledge of mining equipment.
  • Qualifications - Relevant Trade qualification
  • Technical Experience - Excellent communications skills, excellent customer service skills, high level of enthusiasm and motivation, computer literacy in company mainframe and Microsoft office Package and Leadership skills
