Shift/s Available for this position:

E shift Monday through Thursday 8:30am - 7:00am

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for planning and oversight of maintenance technicians.
  • Analyzes operational problems and develops modifications in design to improve efficiency.
  • Utilizing Maintenance Management System (MP2) to create work orders and generate execute PMs.
  • Maintaining and continuously evaluating plant-wide Maintenance activities.
  • Evaluating Maintenance Technician’s skill level.
  • Conducting daily meetings pertaining to ongoing machine down-time and previous shifts downtime.
  • Supporting internal customers (manufacturing engineering, production lines, utilities, etc).
  • Supporting technical items for all Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
  • Supervising junior maintenance activities.
  • Responsible for Daily machine down-time reporting Maintenance Sequel Server System.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A High School diploma is required; advanced vocational training beyond high school is preferred.
  • At least 5 years prior Industrial Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven leadership skills and abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Special skills required: Understanding of CNC/Machining, electronic/electrical, PLC Logic, continual safety awareness, test equipment, schematics, mechanical, metric system, blueprint reading, measuring techniques, hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Must have clear understanding of reading and interpreting blueprint and drawing. Also understand drawing symbols.
  • Must have a good mechanical aptitude and understanding of how mechanical mechanism function.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Required to sit or stand and move about the facility.  Must be able to push, pull and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Combination of office and plant environment.  May be required to use safety glasses and wear steel toe shoes while performing specific tasks or while in specific manufacturing areas.
