As a Sustainability Executive/Senior Sustainability Executive in the Sustainability Promotion Unit (SPU), we are looking for a competent Communications individual who will be supporting the division to develop its offerings related to sustainability topics in the region.
Working together with the Senior Manager, the successful candidate should have keen interest in corporate sustainability and well equipped with effective Communication skills. The preferable background and/or experience includes areas such as events management, experience in managing effective Communications to both internal and external stakeholders and developing sustainable social contribution activities. He/ she must also possess experience in developing and managing multiple projects to ensure the smooth delivery and operations of the department.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to review, coordinate and execute CSR initiatives, events and programmes both locally and in the regional offices.
Develop the necessary communication channels and craft the messages to promote sustainability related initiatives to raise awareness in staff in both Hitachi Asia Singapore (HAS) and in regional offices. Assist in both weekly and monthly monitoring and reporting of emerging Sustainability trends, regulations and news in the region for information sharing.
Provide general administrative support which includes preparing, tracking and archiving legal and finance documents to ensure proper documentation and timely payment for vendors.
Participate and be actively involved in any other Sustainability related projects as required.
Degree qualified. Open to entry level candidates with relevant experience
Experienced in handling both traditional and digital Communications and a keen interest in Corporate Sustainability. Candidates with experience managing events, operations and/or strong project management skills will have an advantage.
Tech savvy and comfortable with learning new technology and operating virtual platforms.
Open-minded and willing to develop a constructive and cooperative working relationship with others, and maintain trust, respect, and cooperation at all times. Must be flexible and willing to be stretched into new areas of work as required.
Self-motivated, independent and result-oriented with a strong analytical mindset. Must possess ability to multi-task and work to meet deadlines.
Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal communication skills.
